Nicolas Somers, post-doctoral researcher at GREENMAT, has been awarded the Bioceramics Young Scholar Award by the Bioceramics Division of the American Ceramic Society.
Nicolas Somers was honored at the American Ceramic Society's annual MS&T conference in Pittsburg (USA), during which he was invited to give a lecture on his work in the field of additive manufacturing of bioceramics: “Additive Manufacturing of Bioceramics: from an Indirect method to a direct Route for the Production of Porous Parts with the Help of Phosphate Condensation and Photonics Irradiation”.
The award also recognizes Nicolas' strong involvement in the Young Ceramists Network of the European Ceramic Society.
